Getting into Vacation Rental Business

We've been running our vacation rental business for 4 years. We bought our first house in early 2020. As a family who loves Disney World, we often visited with our kids and initially stayed in hotels. In 2019, we rented a house for the first time so our family of eight could stay together, but the house was outdated and the furniture was falling apart. It wasn't a very enjoyable stay.

Despite this, we loved the experience of being together in one space rather than in separate hotel rooms. This inspired us to buy our own house to ensure we always had a clean and updated home to stay in during our travels. It was one of the best decisions we've ever made.

Now, we own six houses and strive to provide an exceptional vacation experience for every guest. We're thrilled with how much our guests have enjoyed staying in our homes, with many returning year after year. So far, it's been a wonderful and rewarding experience.

We used to own a Glowforge, which we bought many years ago with the idea of creating our own designs for our houses. However, it was very slow and took a long time to cut and create anything, which was time we didn’t have, so we stopped using it.

Many years later, we decided to try it again when we couldn't find the decor we were looking for. After a few hours of cuts, it stopped working, and we couldn't get parts for it. We were faced with either stopping our projects to find alternative decor items or buying a replacement.

Buying the P2 was one of the best decisions we've ever made. It cuts three times as fast as the Glowforge and its efficiency has dramatically improved our productivity. In the two weeks we've owned the P2, we completed the initial project and added a dozen more to the list.

Other things we've made with the xTool P2 are customized coasters with our company logo and website, which have been fantastic for marketing. These coasters serve as both functional items and promotional tools, ensuring our brand stays in front of our guests long after their stay.

We've also created personalized signs, wall art, and even custom furniture pieces. The versatility and speed of the xTool P2 have allowed us to explore new creative avenues and enhance the overall guest experience in our properties.
