So let me say I’ve been using my xtool d1 for about 2 years now. I never had air assist, I’ve always sanded EVERY single project if I didn’t want the torch marks around the cut pieces.. SUPER time consuming.. I was able to grab one of these bad boys on clearance and let me tell you. IVE BEEN MISSING OUT.. COMPLETELY different outcome, when I tell you these pieces come out FLAWLESS. It’s wild to see the difference, I truly didn’t believe it would make THAT big of a difference. IT DOES. No more sanding and taking up massive amounts of time, just cut and go! . I will say, don’t have it on while engraving, i did a project with engraving and cutting and just flipped it on when it started to cut. AMAZING. Must have if you do any cutting and you want a CLEAN look. When I say litterally noooo burn marks on the edges NO burn marks AT ALL. Super clean . I provided a picture you can very easily see where I flipped it on, the top edge of the first piece is without it, the piece gets glued under another so you won’t see the part I missed but the top piece will be FLAWLESS with ZERO sanding.

I finally decided to get the air assist and now wish I did it sooner. It really does improve the quality of cutting wood and acrylic. Very happy.

Juuust right! This little guy puts out just the right amount of air to make those clean cuts. Love it.

Makes a big difference

Really helps with burning wood and leather. Really helps to not leave burn marks on the material.
