I got my air assist with the wrong nozzle and missing the air hose holder. Contacted xtool they were fast at fixing the issue. It now works wonderful.

Although tricky to put together, it was fairly quick after watching the video about a thousand times. All joking aside, my only regret in buying this laser is that I didn't know about it a year ago when I purchased a much more expensive and limited laser from a competitor. Everything about the XTool D1 has exceeded my expectations.

The only complaint I have about the X-Tool Air Assist is that I had to wait for it, but it was worth it. Installation was direct and simple. The directions are well though out. Cutting has dramatically improved and there are less scorch marks on wood. Don't wait, order now!

The frame is neat and well machined.
The whole system is simple to assemble even the how it was packaged was well arranged.

The software it's very friendly. I got to perfectly engrave tumblers on the very same
day of unpacking with zero previous experience.

I didn’t do much with my D1 before I got the honeycomb, but I can certainly see the difference in the end results. Cuts are cleaner and the smoke clears easily

I have been very pleased with the laser itself, although being intimidated by it a bit as it is my first. Packaging, was great assembly easy. First try with it was somewhat a success. I am very optimistic of its capabilities, and I am looking forward to getting the RA2 very soon.

Most impressive has been the community on Facebook, they give a lot of support and great information. Well done XTOOL community!

Greatly enhances my peace of mind as far as safety goes, plus when used with air assist the results are so much more professional.

I've had a couple no-name desktop engravers. They were awful. Poor design with mediocre output. Just out of the box it was obvious that the D1 (5W model) was well designed and made. Assembly was easy and straight forward. Within an hour I was producing excellent engravings. The included software is a good basic program and easy to use even for a beginner like me. I like it so much that I have already ordered the 20W upgrade and plan to add the Air Assist and Rotary RA 2 when my budget will allow. I wish the D1 had been my first Laser.I Highly recommend it.

If you want a clean cut. You got to get one. Helps with giving a clean cut

The air assist is a must have . I couldn’t believe how much difference it made. The cuts and engraving are so much cleaner it’s unbelievable. I let the laser start without air assist on for a minute then turned it on so I could get a picture of the difference
