    Absolute filed infringement lawsuit against Stealth in the western district of Washington at Seattle.
    12/15/2004
    Stealth filed Infringement counterclaim against Absolute based on the Baran patent. (""Method and Apparatus for Remote Verification of the Operation of Electronic Devices by Standard Transmission Mediums"").

    Court granted Stealth motion to change venue to the Southern District of Texas Houston Division.

    Absolute disclosed to the US patent office the existence of the Baran patent (Asserted against Absolute in the present litigation).

    Absolute files a report indicating, for the first time, that it has been sued for infringement but that management decided not to inform the shareholders because did not believe the lawsuit had any merits.     The US Patent office issued a final rejection for one of the latest Absolute patent applications based only on the Baran patent (Stealth exclusive licensed patent).
